KA Research Limited was delighted to co-sponsor a unique and fascinating conference entitled "World Literature In Between", which was held on December 18-20, 2008 at Istanbul Bilgi University Santral Campus.
The conference was organized jointly by the English and Comparative Literature Department at Columbia University and the city of Istanbul.
Its program consisted entirely of plenary sessions presented by prominent scholars and theorists of World Literature, such as Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk, Gayatri Spivak, Pascale Casanova, David Damrosch, Murat Belge, Jale Parla, Mads Rosendahl Thomsen, Aamir Mufti, Sabry Hafez, Djelal Kadir, among many others made presentations and shared insightful thoughts and contributions at the Conference.
KA Research Limited had the honor of sponsoring the conference together with the Culture Ministry, Kültür A.Ş., Istanbul Bilgi University and Varlik Publishing House.
