The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) has released an analysis of data collected by KA Research Limited in Iraq. The paper entitled "Iraq, the Surge, Partition, and the War: Public Opinion by City and Region" the report's author, Anthony Cordesman, Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy at CSIS, takes an in-depth look at the variation in Iraqi opinion and patterns of violence across the country. The data used for the analysis comes from a national poll of Iraqis managed by D3 Systems and KA Research Limited for ABC News, BBC, and NHK TV of Japan.
